The critic club is a customized Drupal driven site. criticclub.com is a small community-based site which allows users to review custom content types. These content types can be virtually anything from movies to restaurants to books.

Custom modules for the site include a 'review' module which allows nodes to be rated and commented on. These reviews can then be commented on themselves. An extension of the 'alpha_index' module was also implemented to provide content and title filtering for titles to be alphabetically listed.

The design of the site is strict XHTML 1.0 and is a 3 column liquid layout. By taking advantage of drupal's templating system, user's can also select between a number of different site skins. This allows users who are restricted by bandwith to choose skins which are less image dependant and thus load faster.
