The Pilates Den

The previous pilates den website was not an accurate reflection of the company. Thus the pilates den came looking for a revised version, with a modern design and an intuitive navigation system.
The result was a template which offers visitors to the site a much more professional impression of the pilates den. The integrated gallery gives existing and potential clients a clearer idea of what to expect of the services. Furthermore the power of drupal allows the client to maintain and extend the current site with ease.
Raz Chan Fitness

Raz chan's site highlights the power and flexibility of drupal. While it may seem like typical 'brochureware', what sets the site apart is ability of the client to update and extend his site with very little technical knowledge. For example, the client can add new pages and items to the existing drop down menus at any time.
The design is a simple single column layout using strict XHTML and css design. It provides a navigation that is not only simple to follow but is easy on the eyes.
JC Cafe

JC Cafe is a community driven site which focuses on bridging the cultures of Canada and Japan. The site offers a web presence for a free language exchange club local to the vancouver area. Drupal offered an easy and efficient way to bring the essence of language and cultural exchange to a much wider audience.
The site interface is clean and produces valid xhtml. The graphics are custom to the site and offer greater corporate identity. The most interesting functionality of the site is the use of the multilingual Japanese / English interface. Users can choose which interface they prefer, while also switching between the two on the fly. While general pages contain exclusive language content, the forums are integrated and allow both languages.
Mingus Language Services

The focus for the mingus site was on a simple clean interface that provided an easy navigation. Drupal was chosen as the main content management system to allow the client to easily update the pages if any updates are required. The custom mingus theme was created with a corporate styling rather than the usual blog or portal feel of traditional Drupal skins.
TOEIC Diagnostic Application
The TOEIC diagnostic application is a custom desktop application written in Java using the J2SE 5.0 runtime engine. The diagnostic, through fully configurable test options and problem sets, allows a student to gage their strengths and weaknesses. The primary target audience is for students studying for English proficiency examiniations such as TOEIC and TOEFL.
While the diagnostic application uses XML extensively to store problem sets, settings and explanations, PDF files are created dynamically to produce results that the student can store to track thier progress.
Alphabetic Index Module - Drupal 4.5.x
Michael Angeles wrote a very handy module called alpha_index for Drupal 4.4. Needing a similar module for critic club.com, the module was extended. The new Drupal 4.5.x compatiple module offers filtering of title particle words, themeable functions, content type filtering, and taxonomy filtering. Two other new features include the ability to filter by node type from an optional side block, and the ability to hide links for those character indexes which have no nodes listed under them.
Japan Information

As the business model of jpinfo.net evolved, so too did their needs to enhance and remodel the user experience of those visiting the site. What made this a particularily interesting project was the requirement that the site reflect the same information as johokoken.net, the Japanese sister site to jpinfo.net. Progression Media was asked to remodel the site from a 'North American' view point.
Progression Media implemented a number of user interface customizations in order to achieve an easily understood workflow and site architecture. The majority of the content was also rewritten, as the new business model targets an international audience.
The Critic Club
The critic club is a customized Drupal driven site. criticclub.com is a small community-based site which allows users to review custom content types. These content types can be virtually anything from movies to restaurants to books.
